Japanese Earthen Tiny House Workshop

Saturday, April 25, 2015 - 4:30pm to 7:00pm

Thea Bryant with Earth Bag House in Austin will be coming out to the Whole Life Learning Center to visit our '10 Saturdays' Permaculture Design Course with the Austin Permaculture Guild this Saturday! She will be giving a presentation about tiny houses, earthen/natural building, and bringing the tiny house she is building with her to the school!

This is an Asian inspired Tiny Earthen Home featuring traditional Japanese, Moroccan and European earthen techniques that are perfect for a sustainable Texas Tiny House that’s efficient, lovely and economical. She is on a special tour with this house this month called the Nature, Community, Building Tour! It is being built as she visits each new place so it is not completed yet but a living opportunity for hands on natural building! This will not be a building site for her tour but yet an amazing opportunity to connect with her and see the work she is creating.

This is also the perfect opportunity to come visit the permaculture design course, for free, and listen in on an informational talk about natural building by a local, experienced natural builder.

There will also be a potluck afterwards at 6pm! Please come out to join in the fun!

-Talk from Thea Bryant: 4:30pm
-Potluck: 6pm
