I downloaded a Air Penguin from gamevil.com to my android tablet the other day which Noah my 4-year old played with and I suddenly got some emails thanking me for buying from GAMEVIL USA and letting me know that this in-app purchase cannot be refunded. The amount? $49. What a rip off. Several more emails arrived for a total of $55. Is that game evil or what?

2011 Drupalcamp Austin

Sat, 11/19/2011 - 8:00am to Sun, 11/20/2011 - 5:00pm

One of the most powerful aspects of Drupal is the CCK contributed module(s).  It has undergone an interesting history from its roots in the flexinode module to it's current incarnation in the form of Fields which is now part of Drupal 7 core.  The functionality is simple but incredibly powerful.  Fields lets you add fields (just as you might in any relational database) to Drupal which can hold data.  So if you need to add a field to store the price of product you are reviewing on your Drupal site, Fields lets you do that.  Further, you can then display that information along with the produc

There is this super cool add-on that lets you create apps for your desktop. It is called Webrunner (from Salsita Software) It is a replacement for an app I loved dearly called Prism.  I use it with a gubb.net app for my to-do list, a google calendar app, a google docs app.  I even tried a gmail app but I prefer Thunderbird.  Check out how to do it at http://lifehacker.com/5823857/webrunner-turns-webapps-into-desktop-apps

Well I installed the finally released Drupal 7 last night.  It sure looks very slick and modern.  I'm glad it is finally rClick to view larger versioneleased but it does feel a little like having another child.  I had a tough time trying to understand the new way of doing taxonomy.  In Drupal 6, you just go

I just got off the phone a couple of hours ago in disbelief.  I was called by a Case Manager from HP and told that HP does not support printing labels on their printers.  I purchased an HP OfficeJet 4500 printer from Office Depot and delivered it to a client.  They had a great deal of frustration trying to print on labels and I was able to replicate their problem easily.  The label sheets seem to just slide around inside the printer and never print correctly.  They don't line up.  I called HP to try to get them to replace the printer with something that would work but they simply wouldn't h
