Austin Earth Day Festival 2012 is an inspiring one-day festival celebrating Austin as a "City of Green Ideas".
The event is Sunday, April 22nd, 2012, noon-6pm at the Historic Browning Hangar at Mueller (4550 Mueller Blvd., Austin, TX 78723) and is produced by Texas Green Network, a local non-profit, in partnership with Mueller and the City of Austin. Admission is FREE.

Callahan’s General Store will be hosting a kick off event for Austin’s fourth annual Funky Chicken Coop Tour. The Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow will provide a special screening of Mad City Chickens at 7:00 PM. Mad City Chickens is a sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical look at the people who keep urban chickens in their backyards.
